This class is for those that have already completed introduction to glassblowing and wish to have private coaching to improve their skills or complete a complex project. It is priced per 3 hour session, not per person and intended for individuals or small teams to learn advanced techniques, or to get coaching while completing projects.
This class is not open for registration yet. It requires a minimum of 4 to sign up prior to opening. If you would like to register to be notified when the workshop will be available, add your name to the waitlist. There is no obligation or deposit required to be on the waitlist.
Waitlist Me3 hour time slot:
Equipment - Bench, Tools, Glory Hole, pickup oven, bench torches, shop tools, annealing.
Supplies - 10 lbs of clear furnace glass.
Space - Hot shop access.
Instruction - MGW artist will be available to support or instruct as arranged in advance.
If you have special techniques/tools you would like to learn or require, we are happy to support but please let us know in advance.
Typical hours are 6-9p Weekdays, or 8-11a Sat.
This class is restricted to those that have completed MGWs or other's Introduction to Glassblowing and can demonstrate safely operating around the hotshop. Purchase amount is for a 'slot' and may include up to 3 participants. So we welcome blow teams that would like to split the slot and work together on projects.
