Full day hot shop rental for a dedicated artist team
Service Description
Includes complete hot shop access for a 12 hour period. This is intended for professional artists to bring their team in to complete works, or to run their own private events.
Cancellation Policy
This rental is for an artist and their team to reserve the entire hotshop for a full day to make their own work or host in shop events or lessons. In addition to use of the full hot shop equipment, it includes that the furnace will be charged the night prior and following the rental. Renters will be responsible to turn on all and off all gloryholes, annealers, kilns, torches or equipment used. We are happy to provide assistance separately if one is required but those arrangements must be made in advance. Renters will be allowed early access to the studio to turn on and warm up equipment. Renters are responsible to: 1. Comply with MGW safety & studio conduct rules. 2. Complete the end of rental checkout list at the end of the slot rental. 3. Notify MGW if you will be using the slot for education or events to ensure you have proper insurance/liability prior on file prior to booking. Failure to comply can be grounds for loss of resident status and right to use the studio. Since studio rental requires prep the day prior and after for charging, it can disrupt other artist renters. For this reason we require at least 14 days notice to reschedule or cancel sessions.
