Kiln Studio Rental

Service Description

We open our studio for former students and experienced kiln workers to use our equipment to make art. We don't provide instruction during that time but we are there to help you use the equipment and will probably be making our own art right beside you. Come join us! INCLUDED IN BASIC ACCESS Work Space Light panel Hand tools (cutting, glass pliers, sifters, brushes, etc) Devesting tools Cleaning and safety supplies Use Cold Shop portable tools (ring saw, barrel grinder and foredom rotary grinder) COST $10hr DOES NOT INCLUDE Glass, molds, consumables, cold shop time or kiln fires. PREREQUISITES Safety - All participants must follow MGW safety rules at all times. For first time Studio members, we will provide a walk through sign off on each piece of cold working equipment prior to allowing you to work on your own in the cold shop. Friendliness - This is a working art studio. Artists helping artists. You are welcome to bring food, beverage and music, whatever makes you comfortable while making art. But do so with a respectful attitude to those sharing the space and tools please. Members are expected to clean up their space and reset equipment after use

Cancellation Policy

You are paying for a rental of a Kiln fire which will be fired based on a first come, first serve basis. Please use the date picker to let us know when you intend to drop off your piece(s).
